Tim Southee and Trent Boult of spells outclass Lahore Lions helped the Northern Knights. The Lions scored just 17 runs in the first five were sent back to the pavilion. None of the top five, could touch the double figure mark. Saad nasim fought a lone. Saif Ali Khan did not support him to the end of his 40-odd runs went in vain.
Nasir Jamshed was the first person to be dismissed in the second over of their innings after the parade. Skipper Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad came out of all the cheap. Southee and Boult to run through the line-up set the stage for the rest of their bowlers. Southee also took a brilliant outfield catch. Knights of brilliant on the field.

Williamson, the other night, single-handedly demolished the South Express Asif Raza Aizaz Cheema bowls a good line and length of the two openers they do not allow you to get away during the powerplay. The Knights managed only 36 runs in the first six overs.
Captain Daniel Harris, Daniel Flynn and Lions spinners then took over the limit of the field. They had to build a good partnership. Mohammad Hafeez introduced himself into the attack, but he was taking a catch off the bowling of Daniel Harris before he was dismissed for 12 runs over that is then given. BJ Watling and Flynn continued to rotate the strike and kept the scoreboard ticking.
Half-century in just 27 balls with a strike rate of 185.00 Flynn finished. Watling from the other end of the slaughter continued and well brought up his fifty in just 33 balls. The Lions looked sloppy on the field right from the beginning. There are a lot of runs and the fielders drop catches have fallen through. The Knights were gifted a lot of opportunities and they used to put up the challenge to run.
Brief Scores:
Northern Knights 170 for 6 in 20 overs (Daniel Flynn 53, BJ Watling 53; Aizaz Cheema 3 for 35) beat Lahore Lions (Saad Nasim 58; Tim Southee 3 for 22, Trent Boult 2 for 12) by 73 runs.

Kane Williamson chasing down an unflustered, North Knights rise to a convincing seven-wicket victory in the rain-hit south of Raipur Express '92 opener in the Champions League T20. After the match was reduced to 10 overs per side, Williamson, 52, 29, kept the Knights of the chase across the track. Express managed a defendable score to make sure that they have never been in trouble, mainly down to their openers, but Williamson and cameos fifty knights' from the rest of the top order.
Knights' openers from the Express 76 and 66 - the highest score in this game is to hit 142 by 188 runs scored the opener came courtesy of the two sides. Another three balls, winning runs from Daniel Harris - only one in four innings and did not open the batting.
Anton Devcich regularly rotated the strike and the first two overs, four and six when struck Express, spinners in New Zealand side in the hope of trouble, but found the gaps, using his feet against them, Williamson decided to open the bowling. 0 three-over 40 to help them to charge Williamson, won the leg side and a six over long-on for a lofting, caressing through covers for a four, Danushka Gunathilaka target in the third over.
They are very, Charith Jayampathi, Williamson carted him for two boundaries on both sides of the pitch to the other end of the Devich dismissed for 14 when a spearhead pacer Farveez Maharoof was then brought to the Express. Sachith Pathirana for Maharoof, Jehan Mubarak brought in over Williamson Knights Knights players, including 24-of-27 from there, even though it had lost two wickets for 12 runs in an over, which brought down the equation, then the cache is virtually over.
When you put the bat Express, Kusal Perera swats and slogs, and the pieces of the boundaries of the lower leg moves, started the second ball. He collected the first 11 balls with five fours and ran to his right between Scott Kuggeleijn but failed to grab on to catch the time to get there, though, when it came out on the 12. The first of many drops from the Knights.
Express powerplay after 35 runs, Scott Styris came in an attempt to reduce the run-rate. But over the wicket keeper BJ Watling 'Kusal Styris fell on the last ball, three balls later to quell ish Gunathilaka of fortune-telling, and then put down a return catch to his heart. Another two catches in the sixth on the leg side fielders' hands and went over, and agreed to a six and a four. Kusal then raced to 19 off 37 and the next ball in the air, struck the side of the leg, Trent Boult finally caught him at deep square leg boundary.
Gunathilaka against fortune-telling, especially given the score in the fifth over, just started fluctuating. But Gunathilaka part-timer Devcich clobbering him for two fours through the shackles and drive them to 82 after eight overs, six broke in the eighth over. It is not enough to prove Express 92, lost four wickets in the score, but the Knights' strike bowlers Boult and Tim Southee, conceding only 10 runs, however, stalled the run rate in the last two overs.
