Australia captain Michael Clarke lamented the absence of Steven Smith's road clash against Zimbabwe Triangular Series 2014's, because everybody's historic victory after 31 years.
"I think our batting average is lost Steve Smith, who is a very good player of spin, and it's disappointing that he could not fight these conditions», Clarke was quoted by Cricket Australia (CA) official website.
"But the way the selectors went, [and] I want to take anything away from Zimbabwe, I think we played better and certainly deserved to win it," he added.
Comments Clarke hinted that the new Australian selectors - chairman Rodney Marsh and Mark Waugh will not be on the same page selector Trevor Hohns guard and coach Darren lehmann.
