Chris Cairns has confirmed to face perjury charge

Former New Zealand all-rounder Chris Cairns in the UK is likely to face a charge of false oath. The Crown Prosecution Service in Cairns two years ago, is one of a liabel action COUNT face trial confirmed the rumors.

In a statement, Cairns by the charge was "very disappointed" but would extend full cooperation to the authorities.

"I volunteered to travel to the UK to cope with these changes, including the authorities, will continue to co-operate fully."

New Zealand Cricket has released a statement acknowledging the possible charges.
"New Zealand Cricket false allegations against the former New Zealand cricketer Chris Cairns to British police to inform the decision," NZC said in a statement. "The officers conducted an investigation into match-fixing and corruption in cricket is very different from that of the accused, now in a British court of law in a criminal trial in the tests and are not subject to the normal procedures. Accordingly, NZC is not going to make any comment until such time as was concluded that the proceedings."

The Crown Prosecution Service is also a calculation of the course of justice with the London-based lawyer Andrew Fitch-Holland charge. Phic Holland in 2012, the former IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi during a libel action against the Cairns' worked as a lawyer.

In May, the Adelaide Metropolitan Police, ECB and ICC Anti-Corruption Unit in London, were interviewed. The interview was conducted at his own request, claiming that he was in London, and in 2012, Cairns V, he had perjured himself during the trial, he dealt with the charges and special allegations of match-fixing.
