Ian Bell's international season is over after he picked up a fractured toe
Ian Bell at Edgbaston, the fourth game he sustained in the warm-up to the final one-day international against India at Headingley has been ruled out with a broken toe.

Alastair Cook batting in the nets at Edgbaston when he could have caused the injury was confirmed at the bell to be picked in the squad. Gary took his place at No. 3 and the final match of the balance in the absence of the bell means it is likely that he will get another chance on his home ground. None of that will be replaced in the squad.

Bell, so now they have two series against Sri Lanka and India have struggled, losing to him in a format where the two half-centuries as England's second-highest scorer, finished the season with eight runs in 226 one-day internationals. He's already against Sri Lanka earlier in the season on Sunday after a brief recall of the Twenty20 competition has been dropped from the squad.

He added pariskrtam continuing to cook, opening the batting in ODIs, began in the summer, but after calling Alex Hales moved down to the No. 3 against India
