India Regains No.1 Spot on ICC ODI rankings

After two consecutive wins against England and Australia shock defeat to Zimbabwe cricket team of India has regained its top spot in the standings of the ICC for the International Day teams.
South Africa is in second place, while Sri Lanka was placed at number 3 Australians suffered a big drop in his ranking, falling to the No. 4 position as a result of individual losses in the triangular series involving South Africa. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, did not improve their ranking but won 3 rating points. This reduced the gap between the minnows Bangladesh and the African nation of 11 rating points.

With only 3 rating points separating the top 4 teams, the leaderboard ODI're bound to see a lot of shuffle in the coming days as the teams square off in preparation for the World Cup 2015 ICC Cricket. India has 2 plus one-dayers to play against England, while Australia, South Africa and Zimbabwe are facing in the remaining three matches of the tri-series.
