Marsh challenge Shane Watson for a long-term position.

No comments :
Shane Watson and Mitchell Marsh conventional wisdom could not have been any more than two wickets in the same test indicates that squeeze into the team. In the long run, that seems true. But in the UAE, where Australia to play two spinners, it's the selectors Watson and Marsh, two frontline fast men, that is just as likely to want to support the pace bowling.

And that the tour is a fascinating sub-plot. Watson, 33, set up Pollard, the captain of his country, but also the man who flattered to deceive. Marsh, ten years younger, lesser credentials but with an infinite number of potential raw up comer. When only one of the three fast men and has a spinner in India, is the home of the room. Watson in the UAE can be a struggle for the future of his test?

At first glance, Marsh, Watson appears to be the same age as less willing than in Test cricket. Watson, ranked 23; Marsh, 23, will debut if he plays against Pakistan. Watson, Marsh, Watson, 67 wickets at 28.38 and scored 38 plays, 33 first-class matches; Marsh has 56 at 26.92. Similar numbers than ever. But the big difference is the number of their batting.

Watson, eight hundred, including the 2355 first-class runs behind him at an average of 47.10 in his Test debut. Marsh has scored just two centuries, 1768 at 28.51. In the early to mid-2000s, Australia's all-conquering team, Watson was a No. 7 and the fifth bowler. He plays against Pakistan, Marsh will almost bat in the top six. Different standards for different periods of time.
But a decade after his debut, Watson is still a team trying to find its niche. "All-rounder", "batting order, all-round" is taken to mean. Injuries have hampered him, but he bowled No. 4, including a period of time, such as, No. 7, No. 1 everywhere from the bat, but not so large that it starts to change into his usual inability to win the match is into scores.

His latest injury when he stepped on a ball at training in Brisbane ODI tri-series in Zimbabwe for the team flew out of there before he sustained an ankle problem. The two 80-plus scores in the marsh, and a hat-trick of sixes off Dale Steyn allowed to establish himself in the ODI team.

Based on the ODI form in Test cricket in Australia in the past hampered by selecting the players - Xavier Doherty in India last year, is a great example - but Michelle Marsh India, a team of 211 first-class matches for Australia A this winter have been encouraging. Without any of the centuries, even though he is better than his brother, Shawn brought the season with 493 runs at an average of 37.92 in a Sheffield Shield runs coming off.

"He was a package, an all-round package and it was really pleasing to see that we've got a few of them at the moment is around," said the national selector Rod Marsh. "Every team needs an allrounder and we are looking pretty good now got two or three."

Rod Marsh, when he announced the Pakistan Test squad for the most talked about Watson.
"When you have a look at Shane Watson is a seasoned campaigner, he had a pretty good first-class record, he almost 9000 runs and 200 wickets, earning four centuries," Marsh said. "Rather than be destructive as any batsman in the world, and I think he is in a pretty good place."

Marsh and Watson are asked to play together in the UAE, Rod Marsh said: "Yes, an all-rounder to fit more than one team, but it can be seen that it'll happen."

Marsh UAE tour brings it a step closer to whatever is becoming Australia's next long-term Pollard. For his part, he will learn from Watson test can be used to tour, and he sought in his early hopes that it will be a bonus.

"It would be a dream come true," he said. "I probably was not expecting it to happen this fast, and I still got to get a game. Hard work, now is not the middle of the test. We T20s, ODIs earned. Fingers crossed that I can keep going, and we'll see what happens.

"We all Australia allrounder Shane Watson was the first, and we know that he is a world-class player. Big thing for me to work with him and off the field, being around him. Then I get the chance, we'll see what happens.

It is very settled in the Test side, and I had a lot of experience and I'm looking forward to working with Shane Watson's - that should be around the team; "But I'm looking forward to getting out there .. he was a great help to me.'m Really looking forward to that."

Just ten years Watson's junior, remains to be seen how much of a man enjoy being challenged. Last week, the all-round competition for places can only raise the emergence of James Faulkner, as well as Marsh said.

"It's people who have been forced to push themselves to the limit, they will be able to perform for the team to go into every game knowing that there are more options for the selectors to pick from continuing to understand because it is a great thing," Watson, "If they [the selectors] will be looking for another option." News Limited says

In the UAE, they might look to the side of the two options. Marsh gets the chance, and if it is something special, all bets are off.
